first day of school in uni caulfield campus.
school was bustling with activities.
my first time seeing so many students around school.
having studied in monash college for the past 8 months, entering uni is a whole new experience.
there's so many people around campus. alot more local students. :)
well. but today there was no lessons in caulfield.
made a wasted trip to caulfield so early in the morning.
and i had to endure the crazy traffic today to go to school just to surf the net since comp lesson was not on today. =//
so well. explored the campus w darrell n justin after their lessons.
had lunch at CCR after w shar des and nigel too.
then i headed back to clayton for arts lesson in the afternoon.
not too bad. arts definitely has a lot of girls in there.
the ratio was about 1 guy to 10 girls.
pathetic. =( good for the guys though..

my first day being a uni student just reminds me of first days of entering a new school.
new school, new surroundings, making friends all over again....
i hope this journey would be a fulfilling one. =)

i miss all the mahjong, card games sessions that i get to enjoy with the relatives and cousins.
i miss all the cny goodies.
i miss collecting angbaos.
i miss visiting relatives and parents' friends.
i miss family gatherings. ALOT.
i miss home this cny season!!!

cny in melb doesnt have the cny spirit at ALL.
the 1st few days of the cny went by like any other day.
went for church service on 初一 itself.
sermon was awesome. =)
it really spoke to me and just reminded me on being faithful.
anyways. we had 'reunion' dinner on saturday.
steamboat and chilli crabs :)
been playing alot of daidee recently.
its like the main card game to kill boredom this holidays man.
i cant imagine school is starting in less than a week's time.
im into 2nd year Uni alr.
the hols have been too shortt.

enrolment today went well.
got offer letter at clayton.
had mentor program thing in clayton before heading down to caulfield.
all's ok i hope. but i can only allocate my timetable tmr.
hopefully i still get good slots. =)

tmr's another dayyy ! one day less till sch starts. =/

my vday was spent in the city meeting up w aunt janice and yitian.

we had yumcha at chinatown and drinks at kokoblack =)

i got my cny cookies ! yay!

i had a good time with them.

melb city was filled with couples all around.

stalls selling roses and vday gifts were sprouting out all over town.

its the best money-making season of the year.

girl had roses to hold, girlnboy walking hand in hand. sweeettt.

love is in the air

i got back and met the guys for dinner.

thank god for friends during vday. =D

its my godknowshowmany'th vday being single and available. haha x)

but its been all good every year.

i remember last yr's.

it was at fel's place.

we exchanged gifts and basically chilled out.

i miss the times !!!! ALOTTTTT!!!!.

dinner-ed at sofia's frankston.

was a pretty long drive but well worth it. :)

frankston's a nice suburb.

the beach there was nicee.

coffee and drinks at the rocks after dinner.

nice place to chill and hang out.

i had a great time tt night. x)

usual sunday service in the morning.

darrell got kingdom legend award for month of feb :)

afternoon at michael&beth's.

helped prepare food for break fast.

holy spirit encounter night in the evening.

end of prayer&fasting season :)

its been a promising 2 weeks.

god is faithful.

the night service was awesomeee!

the holy spirit really moved in His house.

Pastor Corey had messages of prophesy for quite a no. of ppl in the auditorium too.

it was just amazing the amount ive gotten from the service.

i really like the analogy about how...

lions prey on isolated animals.

similarly, that's how Satan preys on isolated christians.

its SOOOOO important for christians to stay connected in a local church.!

i really thank god for Kingdom Life Church..

its been a great journey so far for the past 7 months.

anyways. so then the group of us went for dinner at the glen.

star east cafe.

it was a tiring but fulfilling dayy.

called the bf and had a great phone convos. :) *smiles*

didnt turn out too bad.

got quite a bit from it.

i had a good group too tt's y.

was surprising i didnt feel really sleepy surviving only on 5 hrs of sleep the night before.

anyways. im having 3 mentees.

2 from hk 1 from laos.

its pretty exciting for me. ive not met someone from laos before. =P

hopefully they are nice ppl. :)

amidst all that is going on in my world currently.
the inner struggles i face, the state of confusion im in,
im waiting to see the light at the end of this dark tunnel.
be it long or short, i will be patient to wait and see.
this heavy load of ihavenoideawhat
it's weighing upon my heart.
and right now, there are a thousand and one things are running through my mind.
many a times i felt like ive thrown them all out.
but they just come back again.
i need to draw strength from the lord.
for without him im totally gone.
i really need a lot of trust and faith.
in order to see me through this time of messedup life.
there are like so many questions bombarding me in my head.
of which i have no answers to any.
i really hope that time does make things better than the way they are.
but matters of the heart are the most complexed.
be it love, family, friends or anything else.
there are just too many issues happening for me to handle.
my mind's about to explode.
lord, pls send me an angel!

i need desperate clarity in this period of uncertainty! =//

the exams have came and went.
the holidays have begun!
3 days of craziness was not too bad afterall.
this time. my mood for the exams wasnt as stressed out as the previous tri's.
well. god's peace in me was really amazing.!
seriously.
imagine i had loads of topics to cover. esp for macro.
the 12 weeks of macro concepts was crammed into 1.
i had a major change of being totally clueless to knowing enuff to hopefully pass the exams. :)
except for the occasional messed up mood i was having, i was feeling pretty much at peace with being in exam mode.
thank god for his grace throughout that whole period. =D
so anyways. everything's all ended and i can take a good 3 week break before heading to uni.

i will miss the days of late-night studying together. :/

most of the peeps have left for home.
great for them to be spending cny's back home.
while im here wondering what's it like spending it here, being my 1st cny abroad.
well. at least ive company :) !

the weekend to start off was alr great.
sunday was major baking-in-the-sun day with charity.
spent most of the time going places in her car.
it def didnt help that is was one of those major hot summer days.
it was good fun hanging out with her.=)
ytd was down to the city.
i just got back from meeting uncle today for lunch.
managed to get my winter wear back :)
meeting up shar and dave for lunch tmr at chapel and there's gonna be so much more things on thruout the hols.
im looking forward....! *smiles*
