you're a mystery yourself
25th jan was the last day of lessons in monash college.
of course there are still the exams to go through which is in 3 days time as of now.
well. hopefully i'll get through them with personal expectations met and all.
ive been so much more slack than the previous sem.
really praying hard im able to cram everything in and do well for the exams.
looking forward to the 3 weeks break after..
anyways. the past 7 months in college has been a good one.
upon my coming here in june till now, its been an amazing time spent here.
god's blessings upon me really has helped me settle in melbourne very well.
i met new friends who now have almost become akin to 'family' in melbourne.
they've been a great bunch of peeps to be with.
ive also really understood alot more through meeting people from different countries and diverse cultures.
im really thankful and glad to be given this opportunity to be able to study overseas.
it has definitely widened my perspective on a lot of things and really.. i wouldnt get to experience this studying back home in singapore.
it has just been a wonderful experience so far.
there is more to come....
end of college has also marked another significant chapter in my education journey.
on to university in caulfied. im challenged to make more new friends again.
'university days are the best days of ur life'
that sounds all too familiar.
well..from february, im on another journey to find out how true that statement will be. =)
and as february approaches, we will all be going through this transition period once again.
im really praying that the friendships made would continue to lasts and all.
they've been there for a reason and i believe it needs maintenance to last.
the change is inevitable and much as we have to embrace it, im hoping we all go through it together and come out together bonded as ever. =)
it would definitely be a real waste if the efforts of the past all go down the drain.
oh wells... im leaving it all into HIS hands.
and sooo....
i just wanna thank all of them for being such wonderful friends! and im glad to be able to know them so much better now than when we first started off as strangers to one another. =) thanks for being there all this while and i really enjoyed the times shared. in any case, u guys have been a part of my life at a point along the way in my life's journey ! and you guys will always be for as long as we are friends... THANK YOU! loveee... =))

&the beauty.
the weekend has been superb.!
friday night i went down to the city to catch the australian open.
had shiho, sammy, darrell and justin for company :)
got to vodafone arena with our ground passes.
caught the game between Gasquet and Monfils.
pretty good game. rather the best game of the evening.
other than the one in the rod laver arena which was andy roddick v marat safin.
sadly, our tickets did not allow admission in there though we tried sneaking in for a peek.
went to the several other courts around to catch the other games.
the rest were pretty so-so.
but one thing ive reflected upon.
australian open aint as hyped up as it seems to be on tv.
watching tv has all the excitement and coolness of the players and all.
being at the event grounds itself. it seems to be just another tennis competition.
of cos i cant say for the game in rod laver arena.
but wells. its a really good experience since i always imagine aust open to be something that i only can watch over the television.
media studies has an effect on me. haha. -critical analysis! =)
so anyways. got back to clayton arnd 12. went over meeying's place to marinate the stuff for bbq ytd.
its the first time i ever done marinating in the wee hours of the morning.
going to bed at only 4am. crazy day.
last evening's bbq birthday celebration was a success nonetheless! yay =)
the relentless rain throughout saturday afternoon didnt dampen spirits at least.
everything went well.
hope both justin and raymond enjoyed the celebration though.
Happy birthday guys!
i for one definitely enjoyed myself heaps. ;)

today's church service was a good drive for year 2007.
BEYOND!!!
expect beyond.
god does his work beyond what we can fathom.
he does everything immeasurably beyond what we think we can ask for/imagine.
he's more than my wildest dreams. =))
that's the promise he has for me. and im definitely pressing in on his promise.
he will bring me beyond expectations.
that's the best thing i can ask for in the new year.
thank god for the great message today thru pastor shane baxter.
tommy joined us for service today too.
glad he enjoyed it =)
last week of school is here.
much closer to the exams too.... =/
&the beauty.
16th jan.
justin's 21st =))
got him a surprise mini celebration at rusden at night.
all went well. :)
cept' for some stuff that cropped up because of the celebration.
i still cannot believe something so trivial had become something pretty major. =/
and well. i was posed this question.
how do i exactly define true friendship.?
hmm. my take on the matter would be ...
it definitely takes two to make the friendship work.
the amount of effort and investment one is willing to put in and how much the other is willing to in order keep the friendship going makes a whole lot of difference.
so then. i wouldnt think that time is the actual main factor in determining if true friendship exists.
it also doesnt help that on one hand, one party is putting his/her all into the friendship and the other is totally oblivious.
that feeling would totally suck.
i wouldnt want to be caught in that kind of situation.
so pretty much its a give and take kinda thing.
well. yep. that's a personal opinion anyways. we all have different takes on it i guess.
human relationships - sometimes the most difficult to deal with. urghh.
-
exam's are drawing very near.
im still clueless about macro.
someone pls save me from it.!!
its week 11 now. 11 weeks of work and ive not a single clue abt anything other than a lil unemployment and inflation which was covered in tut this afternoon.
sheeeessshhhh. im so dead.
tell me about it.
2 more weeks and im done with college.
but i have to get thru the damn exams first.
really praying i will get thru everything fine and proceed to Uni. =)
till then. looking forward to bbq on sat =D
&the beauty.
rusden has become my holiday home :))
been staying over meeying's a couple of time this week.
its like a hotel there. explains the high rent.
anyways. got back frm there this afternoon aft a super unproductive study night ytd.
fell asleep after dinner and didnt do what i needed to.
damnnn. intended to nap. it became my night's sleep. haha.
came back, did my laundry and room spring cleaning.
now my room's nice and clean =))
alrighteys, i shall continue to do my business law case summaries.
so many cases to do. urgh.=//
in the midst of those random super-hot summer days. i miss eureka!! =P

des' bachelor pad. =)

view of melb city from eureka. =) spectacular.

we love jesus, yes we do!
we love jesus, how bout' U ?!
just got back from planetshakers conference'07.
it was awesome.!!!
tonight's session was SOO MUCH more impactful than last night's.
guest speaker reggie debbs was good. so was chris hill last night.
the way chris hill spoke kinda reminded us of WWE. haha.
his message touched on killing the bears in our lives.
bears being fixed mindsets and all.
today's message by reggie debbs abt kicking the devil outta the way almost made me cry halfway through his sermon. =P
the way his life has changed and all through his solid trust in god really touched me.
he really reached out to the crowd today.
anyways. the 4 day conference is a resounding success.
the turnout was huge and the revelation i get each time through praise&worship as well as the message by the pastor is just soooo goooddd =)
especially tonight's session was liberating.
point to the planetshaker to ur left,
point to the planetshaker to your right,
point to the planetshaker born to fight !!! =D
all of us really enjoyed the session heaps. gotten alot from the message and worship time.
and the great thing is..... shiho accepted christ yesterday!!! yay!
welcome to the body of christ! =))
the worship songs are now stuck in my head. im really so glad i decided to go for the conference on 2 consecutive nights.
the amount of blessings ive received is just amazing.
thank god ! x)
no mountain too high,
no valley too low,
no need that you cannot fulfill.
because of your power!
i'll stand in awe of you.
i'll stand in awe of your wonder and grace. :)
so anyways. this afternoon was lunch with david and ben.
dave's birthday. =)
lunch-ed at TGIF chapel st.
shopping for awhile before we met des at melbourne central later on for movie.
night at the museum.
show was pretty alright. funny but simple storyline.
dinner-ed at era melb central.
and then it was the planetshakers' conference. =DD
jesus, lead me on!!!
this was where the conference was held.

the crowd.
