HAPPy FAtheR's dAY to all daddies out there, including minee!! =D
today was great for me.=)
esp the super wonderful and spirit-filled church service early in the morning. =)))
it really touched me greatly today and i teared. touched by what pastor glenn said to his beloved daddy.
this youth pastor of my church had led a messed up life till he met the lord.
by the way, when i mean messed up. it REALLY is.
but the gracious lord of ours had brought him back on the right tracks and now he is joyously serving HIM.
today's sermon was centred upon it being the year of the lord's favour!
let us children return to him and not backslide anymore.
leaving all burdens unto him and trusting him as we go thru life's journey.
really impacting and reaching out sermon.
saving the lives of the broken is definitely worth rejoicing =)
a short 20 min video entitled green grass was screened showing a glimpse of how screwed glenn's life was when he was younger.
its gonna be screened sometime soon i guess as its produced by the singapore prisons division or smth liddat.
the content was bout how wayward a teenager glenn was.
he peddled drugs, partied, left home for 2 yrs to join a band and perform gigs, broke up with his gf, failing grades in school and brokeness with his family.
however, his family were ever so supporting and his father was a man of few words but full of wisdom.
the story basically was to reach out to youngsters not to indulge in these activities so as not to end up in jail.wasting precious years of one's life.
for glenn.
aft serving his prison term, he was released and he met his childhood sweetheart again. the one he broke up with 10 yrs ago.
it was really sweet becos she is now his present wife.=)
yup. tt's the gist of the video.
of course, the actual story is a lil different.
cuz it cant be made with bias religious content.=/
in fact,the lord is the one he is reaalllyy grateful for.
it was HIM who led him to what he is today.
glenn's a wonderful living testimony for the ppl whose lives are yet to be saved!

aft church service, it was to parkway parade crystal jade for lunch.
celebrated grandma's bdae.
met up with cousins i haven met in a while.
good lunch.
walked around before coming home to sleep.
slept really lil the night before cuz was at my uncle's house.reaching home only round 2+ in the morning.
got there aft attending some teenage icon preview concert.
it was actually not baddd. i tot i will be wasting my time there but the contestants proved me wrong.
there were actually reallly good singers.
at uncle's house, had dinner den we did some art and craft.
lol. shrinking art.!
its uber cool. cuz u get to make the stuff and get to see it shrink to realli small size.
tt's sat for me.
friday was mugging day.
caught the same bus as audrey to je library.
met leo there and went to study.
had some argument with the freaaking irritating indian security guard there.
so unreasonable.
oh well. leo did a great job in pissing him off.
so aft tt we went for lunch.
decided to find another place to study instead.
dropped by his home for him to get his TYS.
den off to holland v bk to continue studying.
kad came to meet us later.
hui too. she was bored and dint want to go home early.=/
well. at least she managed to do her homework in advance. haha. like a typical "guai" student.
left the place round 6+.
went grandma's place for dinner.usual friday family gathering.=)
im a quarter-way thru chem revision onlyyy.
HOPE i get to finish evrything by the end of this weeeekkk..
only 1 suppeeerrr short week left.
damn the hols are over and serious mugging is about to commmence.
till the end of the yr tt is.=(
